Has anyone seen the 3 fail policy at one level be applied? For example, one of my mates failed FAR and TC (now passed) but let’s say he also fails BST - as this is now 3 fails at one level (professional level) the firm policy states they can get rid of him. Anyone seen this rule get implemented?

I’m in audit and have been offered to leave with a settlement due to poor performance and poor market conditions. I get 3 months pay (notice) and an extra 4K on top. I can also decide to stay but will be placed on a PIP. Any advice on what to do?

Would appreciate some advice here. So I’m retaking one of my exams and getting the results in July. In the event they decide to get rid of me, how would this process work in terms of training contract? I have 380 days PWE, have passed 11/14 exams, haven’t done any of the ethics assessment tasks yet and not done much on updating anything on the ICAEW website. So taking this into consideration, what should I do which will affect me moving away from this firm and into a new one (like what’s mandatory/any repercussions if I don’t take certain actions now). Thanks

Wanted some advice. I have this week off from work to try and cover FCS and BDS. Is that enough time or do I need some days next week too. I guess my strategy is to just go over the QB for BDS and some practice questions for FCS (more so for BIP section) for context I’ve done FAR and AA. Any advice is appreciated. Thank you.

Hi All. I’ve done most of the CFS content. Questions seem quite overwhelming so I guess I just gotta push through and keep practising questions. What’s likely to come up/common areas that have always come up in recent years? Any advice on the WACC and business valuation sections?
For BDS, what’s the best way to approach this? How long will it take and is it ok for me to focus on the other two for the next few weeks without falling really behind.
For FCS, no idea what’s happening with this tbh. Did FAR/AA will that help? What about the BIP/ethics section?
