Our photo album returned & budget break down
And I’m back with our full album :)
It is somewhat hard to believe that it’s been over 2 months since our wedding ! Time has flown since June. When I originally posted I received a lot of questions regarding budget breakdown, details, etc. So, I’ve come back to answer some of those questions. Please let me know of any other questions in the comments :)
Catering:
Company - Caper & Berry
Cost - £100K
This cost included two food stations during cocktail hour - an Indian food station & a sushi food station - passed canapés, 2 different starter options, 4 different main course options, a desert bar, late night bites, and all alcohol including beer, wine, champagne, and spirits for 220 guests.
Floristry:
Company - Lavender Green
Cost - £28K
This cost included all flowers in the ceremony, bar tops, table tops, staircase, etc.
Band:
Company - Supa Tight
Cost - £12K
This cost included a 12 piece band - 5 singers, drums, guitar, bass, keyboards, saxophone, trumpet, and electronic violin - and performed 3 x 45 minute sets until 2 am. In between sets we had a hired DJ who cost £1.1K and played until 3 AM.
Production:
Company - Event Concept
Cost - £60K
This cost included lighting, sound set up, microphones, etc. This cost is the one we were *not* expecting but ended up being one of the most expensive ones. I’m not sure why we didn’t expect it as it makes complete sense why we’d need this set up for our venue, but it just wasn’t something that crossed our minds.
Photographer:
Company - Rebecca Rees
Cost - £6.7K
This cost included hiring her for our welcome party as well the night before the wedding.
Hair & Makeup:
Company - Team Glam
Cost - £5.1K
This cost included hair and make up for 17 girls (myself included), touch ups until cocktail hour, and travel. My trial was a separate cost at around £300.
Wedding planner:
Company - Caroline Siân
Cannot recommend her enough, she was incredible.
