9-Month-Old CHOW NEED ADVICE!

Hi All,

I am a first-time owner of a beautiful blue chow chow named Rumi. We got her @ 9 weeks. When we first got her, we would frequently take her outside to use the bathroom in our yard, and I feel like this was our downfall she got VERY use to free roaming. Once the weather became something she did not like she started using purely the pee pad and would refuse to use the bathroom anywhere near our home. We recently moved out of our in laws in April and our chow is adjusting to apartment living. We laid out a pad just in case, but she went from using the pad to now strictly holding her pee for over 12 hours at a time some days and will only use the bathroom at a park that is 2.5 miles away from the house, or the dog park. A couple times she will pick a spot near the apartment but after a day or so she decides she no longer likes that spot. She was recently spayed about 11 days ago, so instead of her walks we have had to drive her to the spot at the park but now she is deciding she doesn't like that spot either. Does anyone have any advice or has dealt with this themselves. I don't mind taking her out multiple times and I think she is just upset that she isn't getting her long walkies or being able to have her post poo zoomies she has not been clear by the vet due to them saying she still has a bit of inflammation so they want her on rest for 5 more days and gave her and anti-inflammatory. I am also just a super anxious dog mom and I don't want her giving herself a UTI cause she wants to be a stubborn girl.
