I purchased a CAS2 in slate grey ages ago (since sold and regret it of course) and there's no slate grey left on the website.

But there is 'solution dyed black'.

Are 'slate grey' and 'solution dyed black' identical colours just with different names? I understand the interior of the slate grey is orange etc but I'm just talking about the exterior.

Both are available to me in the UK with the Essent sling being a bit cheaper.

I love the look of both of these but I will require wearing them on the waist as well as chest.

Are both suited to waist carry?
