Do not use All My Sons moving company!!
Do NOT use this mover! My husband and I used All My Sons and it was a disaster from start to finish. They ran into a tree while pulling up, denting their own truck. Within five minutes they had dragged a box across our hardwood floors, leaving a five foot scratch. They did not acknowledge this and my husband had to ask them to lift the boxes or use moving blankets. They pushed back saying "This is how we do things. Speak to our manager" and my husband talked to the manager, who was not reassuring in the least, but instead directed us to the claims department. This was very alarming. Besides breaking several things (including a banister on the stairs), they moved incredibly slowly. We had called the week before the specify the number of rooms (3) and boxes, and they assured us a 2 man team could do the job. They sent 3 people, and my husband still ended up moving heavier and more boxes than these 3 men. Many times he would bring down a box and find them sitting on the sidewalk, on their phones, and had to ask them to please continue as they were 3 hours in and not finished with the first bedroom! My husband did half of the work of this move.
On the quote email we had received ahead of time, it says "To assure you that our men move at a professional pace a member of our operations team will contact you throughout the moving process. After your move you will have the opportunity to give us your feedback & rate our entire team. Your Operations & Customer Care team are also just a phone call away." This was NOT true, as we tried to call the manager back after that first phone call and they kept us on hold for an hour until we eventually hang up. At the 6 hour mark we decided to call it, as at their pace it would have taken 12 hours to move the 3 rooms and we were paying $200/hr, and we ultimately had to finish the move OURSELVES the next day. We could not get ahold of any supervisor again until the end, when they called us to make us pay before unloading the van. I have emailed them to ask for a partial refund and heard nothing. Truly the most unprofessional and unpleasant experience I could have imagined.
