My STC position has been turned into a staff position and I am moving to DC next FY. I have never lived in DC and have only the city visited a few times for work.

What neighborhoods do young(ish) professionals often look at when moving? Is there anything about the DC area or World Bank office environment you wish you knew?

GF role, salary slightly below mid-point, in my early 30s and have pets so close to green space would be nice
