Weird Yandere Simulator Fact: Love Letter: My True Feelings

https://preview.redd.it/vm3vfuejwsgh1.png?width=269&format=png&auto=webp&s=3704394901cd0baa816a568ae67791786957815c

In 2020, YandereDev was hit with a boatload of controversies ranging from speedrun bans, him being a lazy dev, and someone recreating Yandere Simulator for 2 weeks. This, however, wasn't the case. The game would later go on to be called Love Letter: My True Feelings after PedoDev suicide baited the dev team. The game was developed by DrApeis and was said to be the better version of Yandere Simulator. The plot was simple:

A young high-school girl named Setsuna Haichi wants to confess her love to her Senpai with no limits to what she will do to win his affections.

Not much to go off based on that.

The game was cancelled due to the creator being a groomer just like PedoDev. Can't win it all ig

Weird Yandere Simulator Fact: Channel Terminations

I've been trying to avoid this issue, but it has became apparent that the sitaution not only affected channels that are dedicated to upload Yandere Simulator, but big named youtubers as well. This will be a super long post because I have a lot I want to say about this issue.

For a long while, youtube has added strict monetization rules for what can and can't be uploaded to youtube. Violent video games have been a heavy issue as Youtube can't determine whether or not that may be appropriate on their site. Things got more hectic as the Children's Online Privacy and Protection Act (COPPA) deemed youtube an unsafe platform for children and forcing content creators to mark their videos for or not for kids else Youtube will do it for them.

On May 28th, 2019, youtube added a new policy surrounding Violent Criminal Organizations. What this means is that any videos that are meant to glorify violent criminal acts is not allowed on youtube. This comes a year after the Marjory Stoneman Douglas shooting.

Early reports started the belief that video games cause gun violence...which is pretty much bull.

With the heaviness of school shootings, and because Yandere Simulator takes place with in a school setting, you kinda get the picture for what comes next.

Fast Forward to October 28th, 2025. Youtube has announced they would be strengthening their restrictions towards graphic violence in gaming. What that means is that youtube would be taking down any videos that show  video game content featuring realistic human characters that focuses on scenes of torture or scenes of mass violence against non-combatants and If the violence is happening to a character that looks like a real human.

Obviously these are red flags for anyone that plays Yandere Simulator.

Now we get on to the situation here.

In late 2025, various youtube channels have claimed that their channels have been terminated for one reason and one reason only

"Violent Criminal Orginaztions."

all of which have uploaded videos with Yandere Simulator.

While it's 100% optional for you to kill every student in Yandere Simulator, even the rivals. It seems these terminations are affecting channels that have uploaded videos such as the genocide ending and ABC killer challenge.

If you upload a 10 minute video and it features on screen murder for 10 seconds, Youtube won't take it down. However if your video contain 10 minutes of non-stop murder there is a 95% chance youtube will take it down.

How does YandereDev resolve this issue, by censoring the students and faculty and making them look like bootleg Tennas

https://preview.redd.it/ep3qaabkq3ch1.png?width=890&format=png&auto=webp&s=5702edcb0892ce4eba0c50c445cdeb874798a767

https://preview.redd.it/l4ttit5mq3ch1.png?width=720&format=png&auto=webp&s=9f44f7c04b2d21fc6b9ac9a9a1959f0d88287c59

Ok well technically it comes from the sick ass vocaloid cover. (At least according to where PedoDev got it)

https://preview.redd.it/p2xnx2vyq3ch1.png?width=597&format=png&auto=webp&s=12997b0c8cf8a361659b0583a4c8bced84922eaa

This seems like a step in the right direction? Right? After all humans don't have TV heads and 6 arms. So it's not human, so you can kill it. Right?

Well youtube is termination channels of anyone that uploads videos featuring people that are unable to fight back, so this kinda backfires. Human or not.

However, youtube is terminating channels that upload Yandere Simulator and believing that the videos are not appropriate because it features a school setting involving minors.

In other words, the algortithm believes the students are minors.

It's been stated numerous times the characters are not minors. They're 18...allegedly.

Even though the characters wear middle school uniforms, the game is set in a post-high school setting.

So because of this, the students are not wearing middle school uniforms.

It seems that Youtube is using AI to determine what videos are and aren't suitable on the platform.

As someone who's been on youtube since I was in 4th grade, knows that the AI always and will be shit.

GroomdereDev's solution is to plaster this text on screen and on the students and faculty...ok.

https://preview.redd.it/3pggzf25t3ch1.png?width=1000&format=png&auto=webp&s=8fff1f6987ae786052ac3838587a95b6d2680082

Sadly It doesn't work. Someone else's video got flagged for Violent Criminal Organizations...all for uploading a MATCHMAKING video. In other words, Youtube falsly flagged a channel for uploading a pacifistic, non-violent, elimination method.

I wish there was an easy way to contact youtube about this because this is some bullshit. (I'll get that part)

CumdereDev did the best he could to make sure Youtube doesn't terminate Yandere Simulator channels...and it failed.

Fast forward to January 23rd, 2026. Alex announced that he was able to get in contact with a partner manager on Youtube. He hasn't been in contact with him in 2018-2022. Meaning there was a 1% chance his voice will be heard.

But in a surprising turn of events, the partner manager responded and agreed to help Mahan restore all the channels that were wronfully terminated. 98% of the channels were restored and the 2% were channels that Alex Mahan received the wrong links.

This seems like a step in the right direction. For once, it might feel like we might get an acutal win. There's hope. Youtube is finally communiticating with its creators...or so we thought.

Fast forward to May 1st, 2026. Youtube has told the partner manager to stop sending lists of channels that were terminated. That's right, youtube is aware that these channels are being wrongfully terminated for uploading Yandere Simulator and are not gonna do anything about. Seems like all hope is lost.

The only hope is the digital services act (DSA). Which gives content creators a chance to explain that their videos are just for demonstration and they don't condone violence. Only 1 person however was able to succeed in getting their channel back through this. But because it's exclusive to the European Union, and I'm not European, I can't help

ANYONE EUROPEAN, PLEASE HELP OTHERS AFFECTED GET THEIR CHANNELS BACK.

So back to square 1.

Youtube hates creators and refuses to listen to any appeals.

Best bet is to put a disclaimer saying that you don't condone violence.

Only hope is if someone sues youtube for this.

Fastforward to March 31st, 2026. Chalex added new censorships for fully hiding killing animations with a disclaimer along with an alternative option to show a boat.

and also options to censor weapons with a bouquet of roses and censor corpses with static.

https://preview.redd.it/1blyssft14ch1.png?width=1280&format=png&auto=webp&s=33f8feb3b04987d34591a3c479b2eb4eacbf0ced

https://preview.redd.it/jtxh6w3q14ch1.png?width=720&format=png&auto=webp&s=49d0fe1b66941bbffadc0df70e0c833f78b59796

Note it's similar to the one YandereDev uploaded to youtube.

https://preview.redd.it/x5pceq8v14ch1.png?width=720&format=png&auto=webp&s=5ab01be33b9343b5a2a68e706d9fcbb812be2c4d

Even YandereDev added a disclaimer at the start of the game telling youtubers who plan to play Yandere Simulator.

YandereDev even used a video of someone else who tested the game. It seemed like fully hiding killing animations was the key...until that channel got terminated. Thanks I hate it.

Now we get onto the reason I made this post in the first place.

On June 14th, 2026. Jay from the Kubz Scouts would delete all his videos. And their could only be one reason why he did this...

Jay would do this with another Yandere game as well.

Bijuu Mike and Razzbowski would do the same as well, although some of their videos are still up.

I hope this post has educated you on the situation. If there's anything I missed. I will edit with an update.

Other than that, if any good news comes from this. Part 2 is on its way.

Weird Yandere Simulator Fact: Same Voice Actors.

Before the allegations, YandereDev hired top-of-the-line voice actors to voice his game. It's pretty much a shocker that he was able to do this, and the fact that the voice actors were chill about voicing an unfinished game is even more insane. Though as far as I'm aware, they all enjoyed their time voice acting in Yandere Simulator, and I wouldn't see any reason why they would hate it, given it's their work and all. What would it take for them all to come back? PedoDev deciding not to be...well, a pedo.

Some of the voice actors voice in Glitch shows.

Michaela Laws voiced Ayano Aishi and Frankie in Knights of Guinnevere
