Why Did So Many People On This Sub Underestimate The Odyssey?
In the beginning of year predictions so many people just refused to believe that The Odyssey could hit $1 billion despite everything going for it.
It had way more mainstream appeal than Oppenheimer and less opening week competition. And yet people were calling Oppenheimer a flash in the pan and calling people that did predict a billion crazy.
Nolan is a brand unto himself at this point but I bet we will see the same doubts whenever he releases his next movie.
