How to split longer words?
Hello!
I am formatting a fanfiction for bookbinding, but I’m finding that I have to go in and fix the weird spacing with longer words.
In the first photo, I circled the blank space that is made from the longer word “significantly.” In the second photo, you can see that I went in and manually added a “-“ so that some of the word could fit on that line and then the last of the word fits in the next line.
Is there a way for me to have Word do this for me? I don’t want to go in and fix everything if I don’t have to.

[EDIT: I tried the advice from the replies and it’s not working. I got a pop up saying that the Hyphenation isn’t going to work on my Word, so I will just be going in and fixing them myself. Thank you for the help!!]
