From 26 November 2025 to 5 January 2026, the college was closed and all batches were at home for around 40 days. If the 2025 batch has received a fee adjustment because of both their shorter hostel stay period (around 2 months less) and the 40-day closure period, then why is a similar adjustment not being considered for the 24 batch who were also not staying in the hostel during those 40 days? Even if the 2-month adjustment is specific to the 2025 batch, the 40-day closure period was common to all batches and should be considered accordingly.

Additionally, last year the hostel and mess fees were charged for a stay period of approximately June to April, which was considered a 10-month duration. However, for the 2026–27 academic year, the stay period is expected to be from around 15 July to the end of April. Since this is a shorter duration and there are concerns regarding water shortages and extreme summer conditions, the actual occupancy period appears to be less than last year. Therefore, it would be reasonable to clarify why the same 10-month fee structure is being applied despite the reduced stay period.
