Storms and heavy rain in SE Wisconsin yesterday. About an inch here in Saukville. Gigi (we know her history) spent 8 months in foster in Ohio before we adopted. 3/4 acre fenced. Fosters own 3 dogs, lots of outdoor time. The CEC is still very damp and obviously very cool. Been out there 1/2 an hour already. (Beautiful day coming) Bo was a stray in OK. We can only guess. He was only in foster a couple of weeks. That crate is decades old (like new) vivid memory, was on sale at Fleet Farm $69.99. We tried crate training a couple of our dogs over the years. None of them were having it. Early on with Bo, Couldn’t find him for a few minute. He goes in when he wants 🤷🏼‍♂️…. And here we are an hour later.

She did just “adjust”…. Looks so much more comfortable now 🤣😂🤣

That was 2 days ago. Weather here (Wisconsin) went “south”…

We’ve had her a year in May. Never had an accident until tonight. And this was Nothing, but after the first bang she went right to the gate (cats) at the top of the stairs. Tomorrow we will medicate her before dusk. Her boyfriend seemed ok. We’ll see what tomorrow brings 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

SE Wisconsin. It’s 93* and the dew point is 77* You can cut the air with a freaking knife. I had to “get” her to come in. Less than 10 minutes. (I set a timer to make sure) Fur was hot and she was breathing pretty hard….her boyfriend will only go out when “necessary”. Sometimes just showing her my homemade slip leash will get her to come. I had to slip it over her head this time.

His Hooie is next level. You have to get the dirt and mulch out of his jowls. Or wait and just change his water. Bo is absolutely a Derp.

Mom cleaned his ear this morning. Bo was Not a happy camper. Went out and was rolling his head in the grass. Left him alone and obviously to his own devices. Damp Dirt, mulch…. I’m just really glad grooming was over a month ago. Such a Derp. He goes to the crate to get away. There’s a side door Bo. You can’t hide. We’ll let him dry and brush out what we can. Did I say Derp?
