CHS THC break - My brain says hit please but my body says for fuck sake enough already.

Anyone else with CHS doing a THC break? What helps you get past your triggers and craving? I have to this every week when my symptoms return so I don’t go into full hyperemesis. It’s hard quitting, even for a day or two. Sometimes I quit for a month, sometimes I make it longer. My first time was 7 months after being diagnosed.

Please no judgmental responses, I already feel crappy for having such little will power and mental fortitude that I have started using a drug that makes me sick.. again… and again…. And again

My triggers are feeling tired and boredom.
I combat my triggers with 5 minute meditations, reading a good book or magazine, and dancing to music.

Cravings - I just need to make it past the cravings, they will go away after some time and distraction. They will come back and I will repeat. I will do this any amount of time needed.

I try to Remember why I am stopping - I was diagnosed almost 2 years ago now so the pain during the hyperemesis phase has somewhat left my immediate memory, but it hurt, I remember praying that I either wanted the pain to stop or to die.

Anyone else with CHS taking the much needed and required THC break today?
