Hello Everyone,
I recently got a KTM Duke 690 and am currently trying to convert it to a scrambler. Since purchasing it, I've put on dual sport tires, a new phone holder/charger, and some heated grips. I'm still trying to find a way to remove the belly exhaust and replace it with a bash pad or otherwise increase the clearance. I'm also trying to find a pair of hand protectors, so any advice on those two issues is very much welcome.
However, I'm mainly posting to see if anyone has experience with a faulty neutral/gear positioning sensor. My bike shuts off if I put the kickstand down and if the clutch isn't pulled in, even when I'm in neutral, or the kickstand is down, it won't start. Additionally, my neutral light doesn't light up when I'm in neutral. Also, I'm not sure if this bike tells you what gear you're in; mine doesn't tell me. Any and all advice on the issue is greatly appreciated! Thanks for the help.
