Mystery fish from pond in northern Idaho
While passing through Coeur D'alene Idaho we went for a walk around Riverstone Park and saw several of these cute little fish, I'd guesstimate 4 to 6 inches long. I didn't get great pictures, and google lens told me that it was anything from a whale to an aircraft carrier (I swear it's getting dumber as AI advances). I didn't see anything in the list of common fish in the area that looked very similar, but fish can look so different in different stages of life. Any ideas?
