My team lead is so bossy and breathes down my back. I can’t do anything without commentary from her, or her telling me that I’m wrong. It’s gotten to the point that I get super nervous and have severe anxiety about going into work if she’s there. She assumes the worst about me all the time. I know she talks shit about me to others when I’m not there. I’m positive of it. I wish I could transfer, but there isn’t another Walmart close by 😭

When I first started, pharmacists would meet with literally everyone when a Y printed out, so that was like 50% of customers or more. Now they have been letting us techs ask the patient if they have questions and if it is new. I lately only send a patient to counsel if it is any kind of control, steroid, antibiotic, or anything new of course. It just seems like such a waste of time to counsel on lisinopril or famotadine when the customer has been on it forever. What does your store do?

Idk I just need to vent and need advice. I cashier a lot at the pharmacy which is another issue on its own. Anyway, say a customer comes up to me for their med and it’s not ready. My team lead doesn’t want me to tell people that I’m putting them “in store” anymore, and she doesn’t want us to give time estimates anymore, and just tell them to wait for their text. It’s just really awkward, cause the patient will stand there waiting for me to have a solution and tell them how long it will be. If I know the lead is close by, I’ll just lower my voice and tell the patient around 20-30 minutes. Id like to hear your store’s standards for this! Thank you 😊

When I started 20mg I was feeling a little difference. The best thing I noticed was I would forget to ask to take breaks at work, which was wonderful. Imagine working and not constantly staring at your watch. Anyway, the 20s effect started to fade, so now I’m on 30s, and I still don’t really feel anything. I’m just so disappointed.

I’ve only been here for like 14 months, and I’m starting to feel burned out. Maybe my pharmacy is just too busy. I swear I don’t even have a second to catchy my breath sometimes. Does anyone feel the same? And how do you survive?

I’m on 20 mg and feel nothing. It’s so discouraging cause I need to organize my house and get my son ready for kindergarten, but still have very little motivation.

I just got prescribed 10mg, the lowest dose. I’ve only been taking it for like 5 days. That and I have been feeling nauseas for days. Well I only feel nauseas if I eat. This is too low of a dose to see side effects like that, right?

I go to the dr on Monday. I’m so excited if he gives me this! I don’t see why he wouldn’t. Stimulants make me a nervous wreck. I barely ever take my focalin. It makes me feel super depressed. I’m also excited to potentially lose a few pounds. I know stimulants work even better for weight loss, but I just can’t handle taking them often at all.

Can someone explain to me how to do an order? I’ve been with my pharmacy long enough, so I feel was to embarrassed to ask.

How do you go about it when someone is picking up for a different person and they ask you what their meds are. If they’re not listed as their personal representative, then that is breaking hippa. I tell people politely that I’m not allowed to say the names out loud, and they usually are okay with it, but tonight a lady started slamming her hands on the counter like a maniac. I thought she might even try to hit me, I’m serious. The pharmacist came over immediately and told her that I’m just doing my job and that her behavior is unacceptable. I was thankful for that! But it does seem kinda silly that we can’t tell them the names of meds for others, but they can look for themselves and take them home even. I get why people would be confused by that.
