How are you guys checking for ticks and things on your fluffy pups after a hike? I have a border collie/aussie mix and I run my hands around but it’s so hard because I can’t see his skin easily. I found one recently seemingly by change and removed it immediately but he’s so fluffy I don’t know if I could find it without accidentally feeling it. Are there brushes for this? Certain treatments I should be using?
We are planning on visiting zion national park this week exclusively in the evenings to hopefully avoid large crowds, but how will evening crowds look on a saturday evening? I've been to popular parks in the evenings with minimal waiting and crowd issues, but zion feels like a new beast. It's not in the budget to rent ebikes unfortunately. We don't mind spending the evening hours until sunset hiking around for a little bit, but hoping to be able to find somewhere to park. Will this plan work around this time? Thanks!
How much wind can the awnings really take? We live full time and always see other airstreams with their awnings out but we almost never have ours out because we are terrified they will get taken off with the wind. Not talking about constant super insane winds or anything like that, more a constant breeze or some gusty winds.
