Got roofied and reported it to security
There isn’t a lot of info in the sub about having been unknowingly and unwillingly roofied and reporting requirements. Plus I’m SAP briefed, which makes reporting requirements a little more confusing.
I saw conflicting info here that in the drug use portion, you didn’t technically use an illegal substance (or legal substance) illegally because you were an unwilling and unknown participant. But I felt weird if in the future, I’m updating my SF86 and answer “no” to any of those questions because I simply do not know what I was given or consumed.
Then I saw others responding that you should report it because it may come across as you trying to hide something otherwise.
I spoke with my SAP security POC, who was flat out unsure whether it was reportable. The overhead security POC had me report it under “Other” and request I make the formal report to the SAP security POCs.
I hope nobody else has been in this situation or will be in the future, but just wanted to share the experience I have had in reporting it thus far.
My normal anxiety is also peaking because I do not have medical proof of the drugging or what was used. And because I don’t have medical proof, the police officer I spoke with when I went to file a report didn’t want to fill out a report. I’m sure things will be fine with security and reporting, but I just hope the lack of police report isn’t going to look bad (I shared the police report filing experience in my write up).
