Planning to transfer because of the office politics and toxic manager.

Hi guys! I 22F have been doing my articleship in one of the top 10 firms for almost a year, the office toxicity is becoming too much for me to handle so i want to switch my current firm and maybe opt for industrial training.

My current manager is so shitty that if i make even one mistake (p.s. because i didn’t know that there are such misstatements as well) she will lash out on me saying she wonders how did i even manage to clear inter. She will make me work on the weekends saying “i need these work to be completed doesn’t matter when you do it” . I am currently not being able do classes as well because i work more than my manager. Even after that she will joke about me clearing CA finals. Also i am a out station student doing my articleship and I’ve not been able to go home for 1 year almost so when i said i wanna go home and give me a few days leave, my manager said “I’m going to Thailand so come before that and also do WFH since leaves cannot be given due to heavy workload “. I was also deliberately pushed towards a 7 day sandwiched block leave when i very well had compensatory leave. My manager has also sent a complain mail to my partner about me.

The toxicity is becoming very difficult for me to handle anymore. So i have decided to move on and do industrial training. But since my firm doesn’t provide transfer on the basis of industrial training, what should be the best way to do it?

I am genuinely done with my firm. My team is so toxic that they will stoop as low as spreading malicious rumors about me.

Please help me to get out of here. What should i do?

I’m currently doing my articleship at a mid-size firm, but they don’t allow transfers for industrial training. The issue is I genuinely want to go for industrial training because I’m not interested in the domain I’m working in right now.
On top of that, the stipend is really low — I’m getting around ₹9k in my first year, and I’m in a Tier 1 city. Even smaller firms seem to be offering more than this, which makes it harder to stay motivated.
I don’t want to create a big scene or burn bridges, but I do want to move out and explore industrial training options that align better with my interests and offer fair compensation.
Has anyone been in a similar situation? How did you manage to transfer out smoothly without things getting messy with your firm?
