This thread in the storyline gets lost for me. Someone touched on it in an earlier thread, but I would be happy to hear any thoughts you’ve formed.
We know the lizard demon is not the girl’s father. She had a “a different lover…. a damn good father.” She also says so in the Q&A. (I’m assuming the damn good father is Mark in Tori’s real life.) But in the story, who is the father? It can’t be Lugh of the Long Arm character, right? I’m confused how he comes in with Strawberry Moon and “The Daughter”character. Is Lugh an ancient (father’s) love? Is Song of Sorrow about an ancient father’s love?
At what point does she find her daughter in the story of the album (“back there in a mountain town?”) Is it in Veins only to tell her the secret where they then sing to the Strawberry Moon? From there to Stronger Together, I’m lost on the story. Where does the daughter go? Where has she been?
