When I submitted my wife's I-130 in March 2025 the estimated wait was 12 months. We have been waiting 19 months now.

I contacted my representative in June and they got a response from USCIS saying that the wait time was 21 months and we hadn't exceeded that.

I contacted them again in September and just got a response that the estimated wait time is now 83 months. This is nearly a 4x increase in wait time...

Did everyone at USCIS get fired or just die?
