Advice/Help needed

Hey everyone -

I have been collecting ancient coins for about 3 years now and I love it. I really focus on imperial denarii that have perfect looks and are coins that you don't really have to upgrade.

How do I train myself to save time and money by buying off center coins or just coins that I would not buy usually (because of eye appeal).

I would just really like to get past this barrier in coin collecting because it's hard to find coins that appeal to me and it really gets costly.

I need these for my collection

Do you think I should do it?

This would be my first ever auction purchase also.

Fake coin?

Reddit I would greatly appreciate your honest opinion. Speak free!

I was told that the coin was fake. Not quite sure I agree.

This dupondius of Nero minted at Lugdunum (65 AD) weighs 13.60g and has a diameter of 27.5mm.

I purchased this coin from CGB.fr on Vcoins.

The coin under light and magnification appears entirely genuine. Everything looks good to me.

One person told me that the (flan cracks) were "suspicious."

Another told me without even weighing, checking diameter, or knowing the place of purchase, told me that it was fake.
