Messy ownership of gabya class frigates
According to the UN those ships are in a ongoing transfer phase to libya.. although..they never finished their transferring. What i assume the defacto happening here is basically to avoid full scale arms embargo. The gabya class are operated by turkey and libyan navy but defacto are libyan sovereign. In similar way to the T-155 firtina and the T-122 sakaraya

Thread: Libya naval capabilities
How can libya utilise its naval capabilities ?.
I am not in any military branch but i kinda been researching libyan navy..which oddily enough very weird so i want to know what can they do with this.
1-al hani- koni III frigate which their only frigate.
2-al karama- ex le aisling vessel which was purchased and updated with two 20mm and one 40mm cannons they call it "corvette"
3- al shafak- a modified Le combattange IIG with four otomelara and around 6 otomat mk2 and one dardo system (i think)
5- six PV-30LS boats.
6- ibn haritha and ibn ouf (ibn ouf class) a modified Landing ship tank which have been modified to carry one light to midium size helicopter. (Like very micro aircraft carrier twins) ibn ouf have 3 dardo systems and ibn haritha is un armed both have a 16v 5325×4 ? Engine
7-Tariq ibn ziyad fleet. A 6 troop ships carrying up to a 500 troops per shio they have six
8- penguin shipyard LCT it carry up to 2 armoured vehicle. Which is a "amphibious assault" ship of LNA
Since the army about to reunite in july. I want to know how can they utlise this fleet. Like can they operate it like a carrier strike group ? Or cant they or is there anything they can do ? Can they impose any threat to any nations (anything)
