Any recommendations for just a plain or adjustable irons for in place of the plate on the Romulus MOS?

Finally getting around to playing with my GT 5. Are the slide springs interchangeable with the GTO? They are green and yellow. Green being 8# yellow being 10#. The GT5 has a red... I'm guessing that is 13#? I wanted to lower my slide spring just a bit. It is a little bit heavier than I like.
