AE Vader’s Castle (75251)

Could not be happier with this set. Looks fantastic, rock solid for playability, Vader’s Tie Fighter, Bacta Tank, Qabbrat, and good mini figs.

It’s a tall set, but does not have a big footprint, so it’s pretty easy to display.

Quick shipping from AE like usual with no missing parts.

AB Concorde

It’s swooshable, it’s playable, it has 2 toilets, but it’s BIG. $30 from AB and waited for about 5 weeks for it to arrive.

It goes great next to my Shuttle Carrier Aircraft and I have decided I need to get the DC-3 to complete the set.

I like this thing so much I am half tempted to get another one and custom paint it in the Pepsi livery or get some stickers for an Air France version.

I have got a total of 4 large (1000+ piece sets) and probably half a dozen smaller sets of AB and AE the last few months. I have been extremely happy with all of them and I spent less than $250, can’t beat that.

First Technic Build - Porsche 911 RSR

I got into AliExpress and Alibaba to compliment my Lego builds, but I have only done brick sets. Decided to go with Technic (first time ever doing a full technic build of any type), and I’m glad I did. I don’t know if it’s the mass sorting of parts before hand or just the build itself, but I found it really enjoyable, it scratches a different itch than regular Lego. I am 100% going to get more Technic sets.

Porsche 911 RSR (42096) - all parts were there and the stickers look good. I followed the book instructions which were actually clear and not microscopic with no issues. Some of the pieces were a tight fit, but nothing too bad.

Any recommendations on what Technic sets to look at next?

Edit: Also, for $11, it can’t be beat.

Alibaba - $11 - shipping/import was another $10. Took 5 weeks to get to me, along with some other sets

New Home Office Display

Moved the collection off of wall mounted shelves and onto the IKEA Billy that I mounted in the office. I’m sure it will change about 100 times as I rearrange everything, but I’m pretty happy with it. Going to add lighting and some doors on the bottom for storage.

Combo of LEGO, off brands, and knock offs. Have an AB order that should be in soon with a Concorde and a Star Destroyer to add to the collection.
