The NYT released an article yesterday on what could happen if the grid goes down.
(The article is behind a paywall so I'm sorry for that but for those who have NYT I wanted to link it.)What if America Went Completely Dark?
Now I'm spiraling 🥴
Not really, but it's making me want to have 12-18 months of food and water for sure.
It's scary how quickly Americas grid could go down and how long it could take to come back up. The chaos that would ensue. I know this isn't a new topic or concern but first time I've seen NYT address it so blatantly (including reference to preppers.)
