Asking Moroccans

Hey everyone,

My wife, our two little kids and I are coming from Europe to Morocco because of a new work opportunity, and we're really excited about it.

We're trying to prepare ourselves for everyday life here, and I thought it would be better to ask people who actually live here rather than just reading things online 😅

What are the everyday things in Morocco that annoy you, make life unnecessarily difficult, or that you wish were easier?

I'm especially curious about the small, practical things — problems where you wish there was a simple product or tool that could make your life easier, but you can't easily find a good one here.

It could be anything:

  • Something annoying at home
  • Cooking or cleaning
  • Keeping things organized or storing things
  • Problems with heat, dust, insects, etc.
  • Driving or commuting
  • Shopping
  • Things involving kids
  • Work or studying
  • Personal care or beauty
  • Things women deal with every day
  • Something my wife might struggle with after moving here
  • Something you currently have to improvise a solution for
  • Something you've seen abroad that you wish was available here (services,products...)

Even if it's a really small problem that happens every day, I'd love to hear about it.

Coming from Europe, I'm sure there are lots of little things we haven't thought about yet 😂

heliocare sunscreen

Hi everyone 👋

I've been looking for a good sunscreen for melasma and pigmentationHas anyone here used Heliocare 360 Pigment Solution Fluid SPF50+ for melasma? How was your experience? Would you recommend it? Thanks! 🙏

Has anyone with melasma or stubborn hyperpigmentation tried La Roche-Posay Anthelios UVMune 400 Tinted SPF50+?

I've seen this sunscreen recommended everywhere for melasma because of the iron oxides, but I've also seen people complain on social media that it looks orange or patchy.

If you've actually used it, how was your experience with it?

Did it help keep your melasma from getting worse?or is there another tinted sunscreen you'd recommend instead?

Thanks!
