Off metformin

Endo told me to stop metformin for 1month now. Last a1c check a week ago was 5.1, FBS was 87. I have established healthier lifestyle since dx last Sept. Lost weight, around 33lbs. And lift weights 3-4x a week. Now I am sort of worried bec my symptoms seems ot came back. I pee more frequently than I was taking metformin. Esp at night. Did not change anything even I was off metformin. I still walk every after meals. What gives?

EDIT: I want to add that I have been taking psyllium husk fiber in water before meals as a fiber. Maybe about 1-2 a day. And noticed that after taking it, I have to pee after an hour. Could that be it?

Stopping metformin

Last May my endocrinologist advise to stop metformin after about 8mos of taking ir for prediabetes. From 6.3 to 5.1 a1c. Lost 33lbs, moderate active lifestyle, walking everyday, 4x strength training every week. And I did it. I stopped taking gradually. Last week was the longest I was not taking it, 1week. I did not change eating and exercise. But I did not get my period and I seem to get hungry fast amd seems like I pee more times compared to before. My FBS are all in the low 80s, even 80. And post prandial highest is 137.

Is this withdrawal effects

Frenchie newbie

Hi all. Brutus is a 1yr old frenchie when we got him last friday from a friend. We are a first timer pet household. I'm based here in the Philippines and we are in our dry season so imagine the heat and humidity. I understand they are prone to overheating, so we got him a cooling pad and give him ice cubes. He snorts so loudly like a pig. Any tips for first timers is appreciated.🐶

6.3 to 5.1

As the title says I managed to bring down my A1c. This is with the help of metformin 500mg once a day since Sept. Since diagnosis I have been walking every after meal, reduced snacking high carb foods. Strength training 3x week sometimes 4. Improving sleep, fiber maxxing, managing stress. I did a 180 lifestyle change. I lost 22lbs and seemed to hit plateau. Started my body recomposition, my arms are starting to show muscle.

Now my endo wants me to stop metformin. Im a bit scared honestly, bec I have healthy anxiety. Sometimes I cant stop checking my glucose, I dont use a CGM. But for those who have stopped. I need advise pls. I just want words of encouragement. I still have cravings of course of pastries ice cream and cookies. I eat them in controlled or small portions usually after a balanced meal
