Vacation sleep disaster

I feel defeated & never want to “vacation” again

My sleep trained 7.5 month old will not sleep in hotel crib with slumber pod. Her daytime schedule is off due to vacation, but we did our best to protect daytime sleep & still got 2.5 hrs. I tried recreating her home environment with her pack n play sheets, sleep sack, sound machine etc. I can put her to bed following bedtime routine & she sleeps 2 hours. After that it’s nonstop crying unless held the entire night. She’ll sleep in someone’s arms but cries when transitioned back to crib.

Is there ANYTHING I can do? Or, is it rock my baby all night long. And if that’s the case, it’s not vacation if I’m up all night & id rather stay home & at least we both can sleep.. so then what age can I go on vacation again?

We sleep trained my baby at 5 months with ABCs & now she’s almost 7 months. We traveled with her a few times and it’s always rocky. Frequent Night wakings, difficulty falling asleep at bedtime, and just exhausting

Any tips to help my baby sleep better in a pack n play?

Her room at home has blackout curtains but you can still see your hand if you hold it out during the day. I bought a pack n play blackout cover (zips over it to make it darker, I leave the top open) in an attempt to make different environments less obvious but she is sooo fussy in there & will only sleep being held. All attempts to transfer her asleep fail
