Hi everyone,

I submitted my documents for Irish citizenship by naturalisation in January 2026. It has now been around 8 months, but I have not received any update since then.

I have my application/reference number, but there has been no request for extra documents, no update on e-vetting, and no decision so far.

Is anyone else who submitted around January still waiting? Has anyone from a similar timeline received an update, e-vetting email, or an approval recently?

I know every case is different, but I would really appreciate hearing recent timelines from others.
