Hi fellow students,

I am re-attempting the exam in October and looking for a good prep provider. I self studied using the FP canada practice exam for 8 months but didn't pass in May sadly. I found a lot of the content in ExamSuccess and others to be focused on the concepts, but where I struggle most is knowing what solution to use and when to use it. For example, if I have a case study and am asked to recommend 3 strategies, where do I get those strategies from ?

Any experience with providers is highly appreciated as I do not want to fail a second time!

Hello! Would love to hear what people use for wireless headsets (preferred) when working jobs that involve being on a softphone most of the day. I have had numerous complaints recently that callers can't hear me, and have tried about 5 different wired and wireless headsets. It's to the point where they are making comments to my manager so really need something where my voice comes through crystal clear. I am a bit of a soft speaker but this is really something I can't figure out.

Looking for experiences working at Edward Jones as a BOA or Assistant while studying for CFP.

- How flexible are the hours and working conditions?

- How's the progression to FA?

- How is the culture ?

- Heard a rumour they ask you to transfer all your investments to them upon employment? Is that realistic given that they are only a full service brokerage and it would be pretty impractical for someone who manages their own investments.

Hi everyone, prepping for the RSE for about a month and a half now, using the practice exam along with the universal market integrity rules. Has anyone had experience with the exam itself?

-Is it live proctored ?

-Is it open book?

-How challenging is it compared to the practice exam on CIRO's website?

Hey guys, does anyone have a Mokita brand espresso machine ? I'm hoping to find out more about the maintenance required. Mine runs like a charm but all I do is back flush it. I've been wondering if the back flushing is correct as although I use a blind disc, I don't get that whooshing sound and detergent doesn't seem to be coming out of the bottom into the drip tray.

Does mine even have a 3 way valve for this and is it any use doing it ?
