Sealing a dusty clock

I recently got a gorgeous 1919 Westclox Big Ben but it’s mildly dusty and little radium specks are escaping through the back. Does anyone ever seal their clocks with something like epoxy and how do you do that? I’m not a fan of really doing that to something so beautiful but I get spooked by loose radium and don’t really have room in my cabinet to put it in a bell jar or container. Thank you! :)

Radon danger from these compasses?

Hello! I recently acquired one of these W. & L.E. Gurley WW2 radium compasses. I was wondering if anyone knows if these compasses specifically give off egregious radon? I currently have it living in spicy jail in a sealable jar just in case but I’m wondering if that’s necessary. My display isn’t incredibly well ventilated, it gets some, but not like I have a vent or a fan in there. Thank you! :) ☢️

Wanted to show off this cool find the other day at the flea market for $10! Pristine & with the box. I’ve been trying to find any historical info on this clock at all but can’t, they seem to me to be somewhat rare. Love that it says radium :) ☢️
