Foreign-trained dentist, new to TOEFL — need a guided resource.
Hi everyone,
I’m a foreign-trained dentist and I need to take the TOEFL for admission/licensing purposes. I have never taken any language exam before, so I’m starting from zero in terms of understanding the TOEFL format. I'm going to prepare for 5-6 hours a day, and my goal is to complete the exam in 3-4 months.
I’m not looking for random tips or many separate resources. I need one structured resource/course that can guide me step by step.
What I need help with:
- Understanding the TOEFL structure from the beginning
- Learning what to do in each section: Reading, Listening, Speaking, Writing
- Daily practice with explanations
- Speaking/Writing templates and feedback if possible
- A clear study path so I know exactly what to do each day
My goal score is 5. I mainly need the TOEFL for admission, not for academic English perfection.
Which resource would you recommend as the main one?
If you were starting from zero and needed someone to “hold your hand” through the process, what would you choose?
Thank you.
