Wing Strike S13 Guide (13T confirmed)

Hi fellow knights,

I recently discovered a conbination that can push damage of this build up to 13T so I decided to post a guide here so you can enjoy it too. I'm hitting consistently for 7 to 9T on pit 124, with the number occasionally pop to 13T. The key of this build is Signet of Pelghain, which gives you damage to frozen enemy and the longer they are frozen the more damage they will take. So what do you need to know:

  • I'm running this build with 1H and shield because I don't want to compromise on defense. That 12 stacks resolve are still really good both offensively and defensively so there is no substitute for that. If you want to run full glass cannon, you can use 2H. Otherwise, 1H and shield is better here (imo).
  • For rune combination, ceh and thul are your best friend. Both of these inflict frozen status on the enemy they hit so you are having 2 sources of frozen for the ring.
  • On the amulet, you will need exploiter's aspect to lengthen the frozen duration. This one also a good multiplier on its own (albeit a bit more difficult to activate).
  • Other than that, the build is still identical to a regular wing strike build.

However, it is not without its issue. Here are things I encountered with this setup:

  • This is a heavily cooldown dependent setup. If you are not casting anything (to trigger igni rune), you are not inflicting frozen, therefore, losing the damage from the ring.
  • Pit boss fight can be a little annoying as they are not being frozen by the wolves. Thul rune still inflicts the status but not very long. I can only hit the boss for around 3 to 5T (which is still decent I guess but it is no where near the 13T on normal mobs).
  • If you are spamming aura skill off cooldown, you will run out of faith very quickly and there is no way to generate that as wing strike does not have any lucky hit. So very careful with the skill usage and only do so if you need to fill up igni offering. Still with aegis, holy light aura active and consecration, you should be fine.

I made changes to the push variant only as it is meant for the highest pit pusher out there. If you are starting to put together the build, I recommend to stick with a normal version and just work your way from there.

Other than that, thanks for reading guys, feel free to let me know if any other improvements can be made.
