Sony a7 V

Hey Photographers.

Would love to hear your set up thoughts. Bullet points questions below.

I have been away to long to see and know the changes.

I have always been into photography and had the odd good camera. However had to sell everything during Covid. Now I am looking at getting back into things. I am chasing everyone's ideas for their ideal set-up. This is what I have considered so far.

I am looking at the Sony a7 V and paring it with sony fe 100mm f/2.8 macro gm. I realise 100mm will not be ideal for what I plan to do but I will add a lens a bit later when money allows.

I was Cannon before. With 3 lens.

I will be looking at doing a bit of videos with the set up for YouTube as well. So really a combo hobby with the odd side of Vlogging.

Budget: $6000 AUD can push to $7300 for the right set up.

Country: Australia

Condition: New only

Intended use: hybrid shooting

If photography; what style: landscape, portrait, street, wildlife (Macro as more of a hobby)

If video what style: Vlogging

Portability: in a backpack with 2 lens

Cheers everyone.

Money saving...

Hey everyone.

Just have some random questions and feedback of you could bare with me.

I have booked my cruise for the end of the year. I have only paid the deposit at this dotage and have till August to pay the final.

I have not booked a drink package or anything.

I am wondering if anyone has any recommendations on if it is worth waiting for possible deals on drink packages and other onboard sales that could happen before sail date?

I hope that makes sense.

One would be without alcohol as I do not drink but my wife does have the odd glass. Can I book 2 separately or does it have to be 2 of the same. Wifi package and such as well.

Cheers.

Thoughts on photo printer

Hey everyone thanks for taking g a look.

I am looking at a photo printer that I will use the odd time. My budget is 500AUD but can push it a bit for the right printer.

Currently I am looking at the Epson Expression Photo XP-15000 HD Printer.

Just wondering peoples thoughts on this printer?

Do people find after market ink good to use or have colour issues?

Happy to look at other printers if you love and can recommend one.

Cheers guys and girls.

Ps location is Perth, Australia.
