This year through comedk the only branch I would surely get at SJCE/JSSSTU is mechanical.

I know that branch change is available after the first year and I am Willing to work very very hard in the first year. I would be more than satisfied if I get ece/cs allied after change.I want to know what's the CUTOFF CGPA to change it to ece/cse??

Is it worth to take the risk??

And also if branch change doesn't happen how are opportunities and placements of mechanical at SJCE?? Highest package ?? And how many students at mech can crack above 15-20 LPA??

How are the placements in ECE branch?? Are ECE students allowed to sit in campus cse interviews??

Also is branch change possible if I have 9+ CGPA??

Does north campus have a hostel for first year students??

One of my aim is to also persue masters abroad, are profs helpful for that?
