i’m considering majoring in statistics or economics and i might go into finance related stuff in the future and i’m wondering if it’d make more sense to major in something similar from my university’s college of business since econ and stat are from my university’s college of science or does that differentiation not matter at all

all the humanities kind of have a reputation as being “unemployable” but i’m wondering if there’s any exception to that or if there’s one that’s surprisingly better than people give it credit for

i’m not in or going into humanities i just haven’t heard a lot of good stuff about them
