Hi everyone,

I’m currently working with a GNSS module and trying to figure out how to access some basic device information.

Could someone tell me how I can check the serial number and firmware version of the module?

I’ve looked through the documentation but I’m still not 100% sure where this information is usually accessed — is it done through a specific command, software tool, or interface?

Any guidance or examples would be really appreciated.

I was checking my NMEA data and noticed that the number of satellites in view is always higher than the number of satellites actually being used for positioning. What is the difference between "visible" and "used" satellites?
