Looking for tenant to take over lease
Hi Forest Hills folks - My wife, newborn baby, and I are vacating our 1bd /1bath apartment on July 1 to move to the Bronx for a new job, and we are helping our landlord to find new tenants to take over the remainder of our lease, which ends on Jan. 31, 2027.
We've lived in this apartment for over 2 years, and it's a wonderful space. The apartment is nice, quiet, and spacious (950 sq ft), with great natural light. It has a sizeable kitchen for the price and lots of closet space too. We pay $2600/month. Additional costs would be electricity, gas, and Internet. We're on the top floor (6th floor) of a building on 72nd Ave, right between Austin St and Queens Blvd, so just a few steps away from Austin Street and all its shops, and about 3-5 minute walk to the express E/F/M/R subway stop and the LIRR.
