Hotel outlets near London don't like the US laptop + travel adapter, what to do?
We are Canadians visiting UK. Our laptop from the US says on its power adapter it tolerates input up to 240 V , 1.5A. There is also written an unexplained 102 W - I take my calculator, 240 x 1.5 = 360W. Both numbers 102 W and 360W sound like reasonable numbers for a UK outlet to support as AI tells me British hotel outlets support up to 3000 W.
Our US to UK travel adapter has worked elsewhere. Since I am working remotely, my laptop adapter not working is very bad news for me. Any comments?
