Playdough Gumball Activity

A fun hands-on way for little learners to practice counting 1–20, number recognition, and color sorting. Children choose a number card, roll the matching number of playdough “gumballs,” and place them on one of 8 different colored gumball mats. Great for preschool math, fine-motor practice, and learning through play!

I Created Tiny Steps Curriculum for Early Childhood Educators 🍎📚

I’m the creator of Tiny Steps Curriculum, a digital early childhood curriculum I’ve been building for daycare providers, preschool teachers, homeschool families, and parents.
I create affordable monthly themed lesson plans, printable learning activities, counting and literacy activities, worksheets, classroom resources, and hands-on activities that educators can print, laminate, and reuse.
I started Tiny Steps because I know how expensive early childhood materials can get, especially when educators are often buying supplies out of their own pockets. My goal is to keep growing Tiny Steps into an affordable resource that gives educators plenty to work with without having to spend hundreds of dollars on curriculum.
I’m currently building out the upcoming months and adding more activities as Tiny Steps grows. ❤️

🍎Johnny Appleseed Counting Activity 🍏

I created this hands-on activity for little learners to practice number recognition, counting, and one-to-one correspondence while helping Johnny fill his basket with apples. Children see the number, count out the correct number of apple pieces, and place them right into Johnny’s basket. 🍎🧺
As an early childhood educator, I love creating activities that children can actually touch, move, count, and interact with instead of learning only from a page.
Another Tiny Steps creation finished—and another step toward building my complete early childhood curriculum collection. 🥰
One tiny step at a time. 🍎📚
