Would you support making Jordan the United States most important ally in the Middle East?

Jordan values diplomatic stability rather than regional dominance. They absorb refugees from neighboring countries out of morality despite the fact it strains their recourses. They actually live under religious harmony with Christians and Muslims.

While yes, they’re a Semi-Constitutional monarchy and have mixed human rights records. But compared to everywhere else in the Middle East, they’re saint. We can also use whatever influence we have left to get Jordan to improve that record.

To those who disagree, I like to remind you that we are considered allies with non democracies like Turkey, Vietnam, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Bahrain, UAS, Bahrain, and Qatar.

Edit: I know Jordan is already an ally, but they need to be our most important in the region.

Petah?

I’m guessing it has to do with older Japanese people being very nationalistic and racist towards other Asian people even other ethnic groups of Japan.

Who do you think is the most underrated Democrat right now?

Jim McGovern is a great representative that’s the embodiment of what the ideal Democratic congressman can be. He consistently does town halls, meets with constituents, spends most of his time in Worcester, MA and is willing to work with both factions of the Democratic Party. He’s a progressive fighter who is the ranking member of the house rules committee.

He’s been serving for 29 years, but is still very popular in his district.

What do you guys think of Liberal Socialism?

It’s a fairly unknown ideology of socialism. It’s in between Social Democracy and Democratic Socialism.

Liberal socialism and democratic socialism both blend social equality with democratic governance, but differ in their relationship with capitalism. Liberal socialism seeks a mixed economy combining private property with social or worker control within a liberal democratic framework, whereas democratic socialism aims to move past capitalism entirely through collective or public ownership of the economy.

Liberal socialism and social democracy both blend democratic governance with a concern for economic justice. However, liberal socialism prioritizes individual liberty and economic democracy (such as worker self-management) as an extension of liberal philosophy, whereas social democracy focuses primarily on using state regulation and a robust welfare state to tame capitalism.

How come there’s barely any openly non-religous members of congress?

The United States has a population of non-religious people at ~28% with the percentage only increasing with younger generations not practicing faith anymore. I’m one of those ~28%

The late Pete Stark (D-CA) who in 2007 at the end of his career became the first openly atheist member of congress. We have Catholics, Protestants, Orthodox, Muslims, Jews, and Mormon members of Congress.

Today we only have three non-religious members of congress. Jared Huffman (D-CA), Yassamin Ansari (D-AZ), and Emily Randall (D-WA). Non of those people have stated they don’t believe in god, but don’t practice religion.

People seem to be attacking Muslims nonstop and not Atheists. You may hear someone on Fox News talks about Atheists being bad, but that’s about it.

What are your thoughts on the American Healthcare Industry?

Unlike most third world countries, the United States doesn’t have free healthcare. Instead the insurance companies provide a plan for American Citizens. Even with insurance, the rates can be jacked up and people can be denied coverage for life threatening conditions.

My dad got denied a wheelchair despite being paralyzed for most of his life. My ingrown nail removal was deemed “Cosmetic.” and I had to pay that out of pocket.

This has led to people being afraid of going to the doctor and hospital. People even sometimes refuse to take ambulance because it’ll bankrupt them. Some people refuse to get stitches and instead put super glue on their deep cuts.

When Joe Biden was Vice President, his son Beau had cancer. It costed him so much money, that Joe Biden almost sold his house.
