1L school is ranked very low ~160ish rank.
There are only 2 law schools in the state and I got into my alma mater which is the other school. New school is not ranked super high by any means, but is very well respected and my current 1L school is not. You can probably guess these schools easily. It would cost about the exact same to transfer, but I give up rank and all that. WWYD?
I'm freaking out with all this fear mongering about federal student loans and need some advice and get talked off a ledge lol. So I will be graduating law school with about 150K in debt. Which repayment plan do I need to select. For reference, its looking like I will be working at a larger regional law firm making give or take 125K coming out of school. Do I need to worry about selecting a plan now (since all I'm seeing is the plans change tmr)?
Also I might be transferring schools in the fall which is why I'm posting on this thread.

I'm currently waiting to see if I get admitted to any schools to transfer, so I assume I need to wait to fill out my FASFA bc I won't know what school to put on it? What if schools take too long to get back to me and I put my current school on my FASFA to be safe. Can I change it? Also, any other things I need to be thinking about?
1L stats: 3.56 gpa on a 2.7ish curve. Rank puts me right outside the top 10%. But... I go to a tier 4 law school. What should I shoot for reasonably?
If you are above the median transfer gpa on a school's 509 report, how confident can you be that you will get in?
Background info: Current 1L with a 3.42 gpa at a tier 4 law school. Was just denied from a school ranked in the t30(was expected).
I am about to submit a transfer app to another school ranked in the t80. 509 report claims they have an average transfer gpa of 3.low (lower than mine). Any advice or thoughts on how this one will go. This school is more my dream school.
