Is "Dwarven Dice" from pickpocketing worth selling on the AH?

Hi everyone,

I'm a brand new player playing a level 35 Rogue . I was pickpocketing humanoids in Icecrown and I just found a Dwarven Dice.

I have absolutely no clue about the value of cosmetic, toy, or transmog items in this game yet. Is this something rare that rich collectors buy on the Auction House, or should I just use it and learn it for myself?

I don't have any friends playing the game to ask, so I would really appreciate any advice on if it's worth listing for gold! Thank you!

How do I tell the difference between actual valuable transmog and Auction House bait/scams?

Hey everyone,

I’m completely new to retail WoW and I’m really confused by the Auction House economy.

I’ve been seeing incredibly basic, low-effort greens and blues from older expansions (like the Bloodwood Greatstaff, for example) listed for crazy prices like 200,000+ gold. To my new player eyes, they look completely ordinary, but the prices are astronomically high.

As a beginner, how am I supposed to differentiate between

I am using TSM (TradeSkillMaster) to check prices. I know that the Average Daily Sold metric is super important. However, my main point of confusion is this: if an item is a legitimately rare, high-value transmog piece, wouldn't its Average Daily Sold naturally be extremely low ?
