Hi all,

I'm searching for a gameplay loop of taking things over (territory) and expanding this. I've been replaying the Godfather on PS2 where I originally came across this feature and have once again fallen in love with it.

The most modern example I can think of which matches this almost perfectly is Mafia 3, which I did enjoy, but it was a bit long. Other games that fit this genre would be Far Cry, some of the more recent Assassin's Creeds, Total War Series, and another great example would be Empire of Sin on PC.

Looking for any and all recommendations where I can take over an enemy territory repeatedly.
