CAP 2: When Should I Start Preparing?

Hi everyone,

I’ve recently completed my CAP 1 exams. Since I didn’t have any exemptions, I had to prepare for all four papers, and I’ll be in the same position for CAP 2.

Now that this year’s CAP 2 exams are over and the results have been released, I wanted to ask for some advice from people who have been through it.

What would you recommend as the best way to prepare for CAP 2 while working full-time? I’m particularly concerned about subjects like Tax and FR, as I expect those to be the most challenging for me.

When did you start studying? Did you focus on one subject at a time or study all of them together? Are there any resources, study techniques, or mistakes you think I should know about before I start?

I’d really appreciate any tips or advice from people who’ve completed CAP 2. Thanks in advance!

CAP1 Prep – Are Sample Papers & Mocks Enough to Pass?

Hi everyone,
I’m currently studying for CAP1 and I’m starting to panic a bit. I wasn’t able to fully finish the Adaptive Learning modules or completely cover the syllabus before exam prep started.
Right now, I’m mainly focusing on:
Practising the sample paper exam
Doing the practice questions at the end of each Adaptive Learning session
Working through the mock exam
For anyone who has already sat CAP1 exams, do you think this is enough preparation to pass if I focus heavily on understanding these questions and practising exam technique?
Also, how similar are the sample paper, mock, and Adaptive Learning questions compared to the actual exam paper? Are the real exam questions usually in the same style/difficulty, or are they noticeably harder/different?
Just trying to figure out whether I should keep drilling practice questions or if I’m in trouble by not fully finishing the syllabus. Any advice or honest experiences would really help. Thanks!
