Tress of the Emerald Sea— Water Damage

Hey guys I’m in desperate need! So a while back ago I spilled water on this amazing book. Kind of funny considering how spores work… hahaha
Anyway, I digress. My wife is a big Brandon Sanderson fan and she’s been trying to get me to read his books. She told me to start off with this book and I spilled water on it. She says it’s fine and told me to drop it. I can’t drop it, I honestly feel so horrible. I know I can only get this book design in a set but I am really determined to get a replacement for her! So if anyone knows how to obtain this book or any advice I’m all ears.

Can I Become an Independent Agent to Sell Insurance to Myself and kid?

I recently left the insurance industry. I was an Agent Team Member at a State Farm agency, but I found a new job that better aligns with my long-term goals. I plan on staying out of the insurance industry unless I need to go back.

My wife and I are expecting our first child soon, and we’re both very excited. We currently have term life insurance policies. As our family grows and our financial situation improves, I expect I’ll want to adjust my coverage and eventually purchase policies for my future children as well.
My question is: Can I become appointed as an independent insurance agent and sell insurance to myself and kids? I like the idea of earning commissions and residual income, but most importantly I also like the idea of having control over my own policies instead of relying on another agent whenever I need to make changes. What also worries me is that no one will want to appoint me because I won’t meet their expectations.
Is this something people actually do, or is the idea just absurd? If it’s a viable path, I’d love to hear what the proper process would be.
