Questions about the path forward: no spread, but CA-19 at 6,000

Hi everyone, thank you all for your help (with my previous question) and also reading everyone’s advice, feedback and as well as bearing witness to the horrors of this illness. I feel less alone.

My question: my mom was diagnosed in early April (tumor is around 3cm on the tail). It has been the same size since December and multiple scans (including PET) have shown that there’s no spread outside of the pancreas.

She’s in the middle of her first round of chemotherapy and currently has 2 more rounds (9 sessions altogether) before they assess and do surgery. The surgeon feels confident and her pancreatic oncologist feels good, but we’re nervous and want to make sure we have all bases covered.

Please share anything and all advice.
