Hello everyone, I will be running sotdq for the first time. I like to give my players a little bit of information about the campaigns we will be playing, so they can better prepare their characters. However, I'm not completely sure what my players should and shouldn't know beforehand with the information in the book, besides them needing to make a character that is somehow connected to Ispin Greenshield. What do you recommend me telling?

Are there also other things you might recommend me telling my players in regard to character creation?

Edit: Thank you for the suggestions, I will be working on writing a small summary on things such as the cataclysm, religion, organizations and some of the other information in the book.
