Came out of bad divorce, is it possible to pass both in November?

Hey everyone,
My best friend recently came out of a very difficult divorce. She’s currently staying with me, and I’ve been supporting her through everything.

She has nothing else to do now and decided to focus on her NCA exams and is hoping to sit for both exams in November. She completed her NCA process and registered with LSO in June 2025.

I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who has been in a similar situation or has successfully taken both exams in one sitting.

She has been through a lot recently, so I’d especially appreciate honest but encouraging advice from people who have actually gone through the both exams.

Any suggestions, experiences, or tips would mean a lot. Thank you! Please support her :)

Sharing Personal Experience with Candidates

Hi everyone, I want to share my experience and caution the group. Based on my experience, I do not recommend NCA***RU or NCAO***ER. I had serious concerns about their services, so I suggest everyone do thorough research, verify credentials, and be careful before paying for any tutoring or exam preparation.

First one is not even a lawyer and he was also sued by LSO,
and the second one is a lawyer but not educated enough and he outsource his teachings/classes. He is now busy joining different Law Firms because of saturated coaching market.

I am not going to fully name anyone. But at this stage where I have almost completed my Licensing Processing - this is my only personal experience after getting classes/ paying for their services.

Only and only LSO materials would help you pass the exams.
READ, READ and READ - LSO Notebooks.
PRACTICE, PRACTICE and PRACTICE - Quizzes available online.

Starting Late at 36.

I would love the suggestions and tips from people who felt late in life but made it. I need real motivation.

- I’m in the process of transition, from a labour-only job to skill-based job. That will take another 8-10 months.
- I’m an immigrant.
- Single.
- Renting in GTA.
- I also have $50k debt (mixed in CC and LoC)

WHO FAILED - This is just a minor bump in the road, not the end of the journey. You will conquer this next time.

Sending the biggest hug to everyone who didn't get the results they wanted today. You all poured months of blood, sweat, and tears into this brutal exam, and today's outcome doesn't change how incredibly smart and capable you are. Please be gentle with yourselves tonight. Take time to grieve, disconnect, and process. We are all in this together, and this single test does not define your future.
