New York Central's L3-a Mohawk 3001 at the National New York Central Railroad Museum, Elkhart, IN.
The 3001 has been pressure tested and lubed in preparation for the trip down to Ft. Wayne for restoration. My dad used to work at the museum, so we had to go see it here before it's gone. Currently the best guess is sometime in July for the move. We are going to go to see her off as well.
